In the chilling cold, this mother walked miles with her child clinging to her arms, searching for food, water, and safety that may not exist.
Many Children are growing weak. Not because of illness.
But because there is simply nothing to eat.

But for millions of families in Sudan, survival has become a daily question.
A Crisis the World Is Looking Away From
Sudan is facing one of the worst humanitarian disasters of our time.
- Over 12,000 lives lost
- 10.7 million people forced from their homes
- 2.9 million children are suffering from acute malnutrition
- 200,000+ women and children on the brink of starvation
Families are fleeing with nothing but the clothes they are wearing.
They cross borders into Chad, Egypt, Libya, Ethiopia, and Central Africa—hoping for safety.
What they find instead:
- Overcrowded camps
- Multiple families sharing one small tent
- Limited food, clean water, and medical care
Safety came—but survival is still uncertain.
Whereas our beloved Prophet ﷺ warned us:
“The believers, in their mutual compassion and mercy, are like one body. When one part suffers, the whole body responds with sleeplessness and fever.”
